# Kennel Association Slovensko (KAS)

> Slovakia's official canine registry and WDF representative. Ethical breeding, health controls, certified pedigrees and inclusive breed protection for over 10 years.

Kennel Association Slovensko (KAS) is an authorised Slovak cynology organisation and the official representative of the World Dog Federation (WDF) in Slovakia. Since 2016, KAS has issued over 4,800 pedigrees, affiliated more than 320 breeders across 40+ WDF countries, and pioneered ethical standards for dog breeding, health screening and animal welfare in Europe.

KAS protects both recognised and discriminated breeds — including the Exotic French Bulldog, Maltipoo and Dachshund — through experimental pedigree books and rigorous genetic selection. All breeders comply with a signed ethical code, periodic inspections, DNA screening, hip and heart tests, and temperament evaluations before mating.
